Hyperdrive video tutorials - ready to take off

It's been a busy few months at PixelHaze studio, but with the successful launch of our boot camps and the forthcoming PixelHaze Pantheon online training courses in the pipeline, we're excited to say that we can now turn our focus to our Hyperdrive Series.

Some of you may have noticed that we've already had some Hyperdrive content available. For those of you who haven't come across these tutorials, they are a series of video guides each under one minute. These free videos, which will be available on YouTube, are short, sharp, direct and to the point - you'll find no waffle here, no upselling, and certainly no begging to subscribe to our YouTube channel.

The Hyperdrive Series was created on the back of a series of conversations with our clients when carrying out web design workshops. They wanted Quick Access tutorials on how they can run some of the more day-to-day tasks on Squarespace. For example, accessing and downloading invoices, using the password reminder, and even finding ways of logging into the platform.

Although these aren't often seen as challenging for regular users and experts on Squarespace, they are certainly the questions that pop up most regularly to our clients who already have a completed website and may need to go in to edit and tweak the content once or twice a year. If you fit this bracket, these tutorials are built from the ground up with you in mind.

As we create more and more content in the coming months, we will, of course, increase the complexity of the content that we'll be tackling while still maintaining that direct, to the point, and simple step-by-step formula.

Adding hyperdrive to the Box of Tricks series.

If you've been using our Box of Tricks courses, we can assure you that we have no intention of stopping in our quest to create formidable online courses specializing in some of the popular software that we work with, in particular Squarespace and Canva.

Think of Hyperdrive as a series of appendices and quick access guides that go along with our more detailed course content that can be found in our Box of Tricks series.

For example, in the Squarespace Box of tricks course, there is a chapter on how you can add and position an image on a particular page. The Hyperdrive will sit alongside this acting as a sub-one-minute refresher. You don't always need to hear the 'Why should I do this?' part of a course and that's where it fits in swimmingly.

For ease of access, we will be adding the Hyperdrive courses to YouTube and organizing them into neat categories.

For example, our β€˜How to add an image into Squarespace’ topic may be broken down into five or six chapters, going through the process of:

  • Editing the page

  • Adding an image block

  • Positioning the image block

  • How to use image wrap

  • Using the image title tool

  • And finally, some more advanced features like image transitions and animations, and using the image design tool in Squarespace.

Our first Hyperdrive complete video will be available within the next couple of weeks so watch this space!

If you can't wait that long to get your hands on our content, you are very welcome to head over to the PixelHaze Campus and see our Box of Tricks courses that are available. For only 60 US dollars a year, you can gain full access to all of our course content in one convenient space.

What are you waiting for?
